What is an “Enterprise Catalyst”?
This award is designed to recognise an exceptional individual working inside or outside the curriculum in higher or further education. The judges are particularly keen to recognise individuals working at the ‘grass roots’ level to influence transformational change in their organisation’s development and delivery of enterprise and entrepreneurship education and support. The entrant must be employed by a UK higher or further education institution. An Enterprise Catalyst will be nominated by a colleague or a senior manager.

What is a “Team Enterprise”?
These are two awards – one for those working in higher education and one for those in further education. The team must comprise two or more individuals who work together (or have worked together in the last 12 months) on a distinct enterprise or entrepreneurship initiative or project. The lead applicant must be employed by a UK university of further education college. The team may work within the curriculum, outside the curriculum or both. The judges will be looking for exceptional teams delivering exceptional initiatives or projects. Those initiatives/projects should support individuals to develop the capabilities they need for an entrepreneurial future. Teams will usually self-nominate.
